CIA Operatives Accused of Smuggling Atomic Weapons

Three men working for the CIA may face atomic weapons smuggling charges in Switzerland court. Friedrich Tinner and his two sons, Urs and Marco secretly worked for the CIA since 2008, according to a New York Times article titled “Swiss Judge Seeks Atomic Secrets Trial for CIA Moles.” The Tinners helped A.Q. Khan operate an atomic smuggling ring, while supplying the CIA with information about Khan’s operation. Khan helped design Pakistan’s nuclear bomb program.
